POS Car
I was getting all my receipts/repair logs and such all together for my car (97 Ford Escort LX, 118k) because I am going to sell it. Over the last two and a half years since I bought the car (including $1200 for the Eclipse I traded in for it, the cost of the car and all the repairs) I have paid approximently $9040.00 for it. I put forty thousand miles on it. The tranaxle has a leak that is not repairable unless the tranny is dropped and repaired ($1100.00 bearings repair) so I *have* to sell it. I can't put any more money into this peice of crap.
Unbelievable, huh? I'm listing it for $2390. That would adjust my total cost $6650.00 for a pile of crap car I only got two years out of. That's not including interest or even the stereo I put in.
I feel like I'm going to puke.
