Well, here I am again! I've not kept my promise of keep up with this everyday, but hey, not much happens in the course of a day for me. If you read my previous post, disregard it...I had a small fit and acted like a psychotic girl for a moment but now I'm fine!
This weekend I'm going home to do some things for my title....i'm pretty excited. It begins the long line of things that I'll be doing leading up to the week of Miss GA...I'm SO excited and I can't wait to get there!!!! If only this semester would end! But at least I'm still smart. I made the National Dean's List again, despite my less than stellar grades last semester!! But hey, I'm not complaining!
Today, however, marks an important event...I watched Steel Magnolias, and for the first time EVER, I cried at the end of the movie! It is a rare ocassion that I cry at a movie (like, only once) so this was TOTALLY out of the blue for me. I must be turning into a softie...actually, I think it's just the fact that I'm getting older and with more experiences things affect me differently than they used to. Just one of those things, I reckon...
I found all of these sayings a couple of weeks ago. They are so true and should be what every girl hopes for in a guy....wishful thinking, I guess :)
Tell me I'm beautiful, not hot or sexy
Hold my hand even if it is just for a second
Kiss me on the forehead
Don't tell me how smart or fun your past girls were
Play with my hair
Let me sit in the middle on long trips
Give me piggyback rides
Slow dance with me, even if there's no music
Reassure me I'm your only girl
Don't smother me
Tell me you like my dog even if you hate her
Open doors for me
Make me laugh so hard that I snort
Support me in my decisions
Don't yell at me
Don't tell me you love me just to say it. Tell me when you feel like you can't not say it
Hold her hand at any moment even if it is just for a second.
Leave her voice messages to wake up to.
Always tell her you love her at any and all times.
When she is upset hold her tight and tell her how much she means to you
Call her sweetie (not baby)
Write her notes. (she loves them)
Pick her up, tickle her and play-wrestle with her.
Throw pebbles at her window in the middle of the night just because you missed her.
If she's mad at you, kiss her.
Treat her the same around your friends as you do when your alone.
Slow dance with her, even if there isn't any music playing
Pick her over all the other girls you hang out with.
Find a guy who calls you beautiful instead of hot,
Who calls you back when you hang up on him,
Who will lie under the stars and listen to your heartbeat,
Or will stay awake just to watch you sleep,
Wait for the boy who kisses your forehead,
Who wants to show you off to the world when you are in sweats,
Who holds your hand in front of his friends,
Who thinks you're just as pretty without makeup,
One who is constantly reminding you of how much he cares and how lucky he is to have you...
The one who turns to his friends and says "that's her"
and when you find him never let him go.
Doesn't that just make you feel all toasty inside, girls? It does me!!! :) Oh well, back to reality...I've got a bunch of studying to do for my math test tommorrow...but I'll post tommorrow, hopefully!!
By the way, formal is in 10 days!!! I can't wait because I'm gonna be wearing a hot dress and I'm going with the coolest guy around!! :)
Ok, I'm really going now....peace out, yo!
