Further birthday celebrations
Over the weekend I had my annual birthday lunch and frivolity with my sister and niece. They gave me a million nice gifts--too many--but I can say easily the highlight of the day was this cake:

Very appropriate behavior with this cake. We didn't know where to cut into it, it really was a painful thought to mar those gorgeous faces, so we finally decided to eat the small square under Jared Padalecki's chin. When I brought it home my kids had no problem eating Jensen's face right away though. Thank you Erica, for going to enormous trouble and expense for this!
My camera's batteries are dead, otherwise I would snap a picture of the magnificent original artwork of a orange kitty that my sister gave me that I immediately came home and hung up in my bedroom. I LOVE it. And everything else they gave me.
Thank you again, ladies, for everything...even if your idea of a really good time is reorganizing and cleaning a laundry room. :o/

In other news, I am coughing up a lung today and have caught another cold. I think I slept 4 hours last night. So that means an extra special day today!
