Happy Easter (& Day 3 Happy Happy Happiness)!!
What made me happy today:
1. My girlies in matching dresses. And the fact they both love dressing alike. I doubt that will last forever.
2. Watching Camille hunt for eggs and giving a *gasp* of real excitement whenever she found one.
3. Eating ham and "funeral" potatoes 2 days in a row.
4. We made the "Old Black Witch" pancakes! And they were ok. Not fantastic, but still, satisfying in their closure of childhood grievances.
Here are some more pics of my children hunting eggs, etc and the pancakes this morning. Alex hunted eggs at his aunt's house last night only because he knew there was money hiding in them as well as candy. But he still looked for them with great interest this morning even when he didn't know what was in the eggs. He is 13 years old going on 3 sometimes, and I doubt that interest in silly family traditions will last much longer either. :(
