It was a beautiful, emotional ceremony. I feel a huge burden lifted with the passing of the end of the error :)

I was just riveted to the screen. And I thought the piece played by Yo Yo Ma (and those other artists, can't remember their names) was beautiful. This day is so exciting.

Oh, this is a happy day. But I sure don't envy his job. What a mess he is inheriting, and while it is great that we all have high hopes and faith in him, how will he possibly live up to all our expectations? The whole world is hoping for change and for him to quickly address all the issues and problems that impact them. Too much for one man to do, at least in such a short amount of time. However, I believe he will do his very best and in general will make us all proud.

Beautiful, just beautiful. anonymous January 20 2009, 22:16:25 UTC
It was wonderful, wasn't it? A burden was lifted and even though, like he said, we are in a time where there are lots of dark clouds, a few of those dark clouds have parted for me now that he's in office. :) Definitely all hail the end of an error.

His message was as I expected, sound, truthful, strong...the whole world was watching, and I think they were as impressed as I was.

Both of them are refreshing, they are different, not robotic political talking heads, repeating the same trite statements. They seem truly genuine...

I'm very hopeful.
