Bring on the hollerday season....

(In the garage, getting the Christmas decorations out--I'm not sure why Abby is wearing a tutu, I guess the occasion just called for fancy)

How was ya'lls Thanksgiving? Mine was loud, busy and manic, just like it should be. It was great. I don't know how I fit all those people in my rabbit-hutch house but we did, without anyone getting stepped on or squashed. My sister Jeri's orange rolls were my favorite thing that day, I think. I could have devoured a dozen, and almost did. Our annual Turkey Bowl was also a success and the 20 something boys made us geezers look like we were stuck in quicksand, as per usual. I was on the losing team, but no matter, I actually caught a pass this year. Go me. Abby snapped my flag off soon thereafter, though. :(  It was a fun weekend.

::Facebook is still taking too much of my time. In fact, I am going to be super lazy and refer you all to Facebook to look at my Thanksgiving pics since you are all mostly on there anyway (except a certain SISTER of mine). I am now a farming enthusiast and am slowly decorating my Christmas tree on there. That site is heinous with it's evil time-suckery forces....

::Starting to put up Christmas decor. Tackled the kid's tree, now it's onto the giant one in the front room that I mostly do because everyone loses interest after 10 minutes and me rearranging their haphazard ornament placing. My poor family.

::I just talked to my father-in-law that is going through chemotherapy for colon cancer. He did not. sound. good. at. all.  It really hit me hard. He is such a vibrant bigger-than-life person that just has always been a force of nature. I hate to see him going through this.

Anyway, hope everyone is doing well and you survived Black Friday and Thanksgiving. This post was pretty much worthless, was it not....
