Zombie Post - T Minus 10 - Cast of Characters
The Living
alphafem. Moi. Your humble narrator. Opinionated, stubborn, quick tempered and a fierce mother bear when her cubs are endangered.
Girlchild - Aka "Bean", "BabyBean", "Miss Pants". My five year old daughter. Last seen narrowly recovering from an infected wound that it was feared would turn her into one of the walking dead.
Boychild - Aka "Buddy", "Dude", "Princess Sparklepants". My nine year old son. Last year he blissfully skated through the zombiepocalypse, blissfully unaware of what was going on outside our house, only that he was being allowed to eat dinner in his room AND play Playstation at the same time.
Alphamom - My mother. Survived last year huddled in my bathroom with boychild.
absinthe_dot_ca. Aka 'Abs', or 'G'. My younger brother, living in Moronto last year, now relocated to the left coast. Very fitting as he lost his left hand during the zombie romp last year.
vampyrehunterm. My sister in law. Living with Abs on the west coast. She likes crafts, tea and sharp pointy things. At least one of those things should come in handy tomorrow.
Rabbit Mom - Aka L. My friend and future lesbian lover if we both ever decide to go that way. Unless of course Keira Knightley is gay. Because -- damn! She survived last year on her parents' farm with her three children. Her husband is among the missing as is her father.
Wundergeek and Mr. Geek - Two of our friends, recently transplanted from the US of A. They fled the big city for wilderness parts unknown during Z-Day last year.
The Dead (Or not so Dead as the Case may be)
Alphahubby - Aka 'D', 'FLB' and a host of other names. My husband. Bit by my father and committed suicide rather than risk becoming a zombie.
Alphadad - My dad. Bitten by his best friend, zombified and given the ultimate gift of a head shot from my husband after biting him.
Jim - My dad's best friend. The one who zombified my dad.
The Missing
manyin1. Aka 'bf'. Headed to Toronto during the worst of it. Missing and suspected zombified.
Mr. Rabbit- L.'s husband. Didn't make it home from his work at the car lot on Z-Day.
Rabbit Dad - L.'s father. Also did not make it home on Z-Day.
I think everyone is up to speed. Which is good. Because it's 12:02.
