Twas the night before Christmas, the children were scared
Mom and dad had been violently eaten, by bears
On the subject of coal, neither child did fret
Perturbed as they were by the dark ursine threat
The bears were still out there, oh, make no mistake
And Billy and Suzie were hiding, awake
While Santa flew south in his sled, keeping busy
They were both pretty sure they'd be mauled by some grizzlies
Then, out from the window arose such a roar
The children were shaken right down to their cores
Oh great. Just more bears. Nothing nice, like assistance.
They'd most likely die, despite all their persistence
I guess I've, uh, strayed from the Christmas motif
I'll cut this one short, and save us some grief
The kids both got eaten and they're gone now forever
The bears, though, they lived happily ever after
