...And I think I finally feel like I'm doing something truly wrong. I can only justify it with the fact that I don't have a readily-available record player and all the good 12-inches are being snatched up by people far more resourceful than myself.

I prefer collect songs one by one from different blogs, compilations are worthy just to find one or two gems on some releases with questionable names like "Gay Classics Vol. VII Out There" many of which sound like they was ripped from vinyl anyway. At the same time I enjoyed whole I Love Disco Diamonds vol. 2 CD and it doesn't sound like it was transferred from vinyl.

Then, sitting in some vinyl grotto pre-listening 12"s would be much cooler, of course.

Yeah, I've never really downloaded a huge multi-disc comp of anything before, really; I usually do the blog thing too!
I was just kind of tired of collecting tiny digi-slivers of italo all over the place and the second a friend of mine tipped me to the torrent I just had to do it.

Vinyl discs are usually far cooler than mp3s, but until computers come with vinyl drives, I'm probably going to be an mp3-dude most of the time. XD
