I love AC
So Sunday our air conditioning stopped working. It had been over 100 degrees all week. At first it was slightly cooler in here- maybe only 85 or 90. But if you know me well, then you know that I get cranky and don't function well in the heat...so that made getting ready for school a challenge. That night I was almost too sweaty to sleep.
BUT- thanks to management here being way more organized than at The Greens- it got fixed yesterday. I think I took it for granted, and now I have a new appreciation for air conditioners. Still, Hannah and I feel that it was an adventure/accomplishment to survive 24 hours of Oklahoma summer without the help of technology.
Also, we survived our first spider encounter. She said there was a "huge spider" in the tub, and since she is a Texan I assumed that meant...I dunno, the size of a grapefruit? But it wasn't so bad. We agreed that if I smooshed it she'd clean it up. And the ginormous crickets that come out downstairs at night....well, we decided to just ignore them, and maybe they'll spray for them eventually
All in all I love this apartment! My room is the master bedroom... there really is such thing as TOO MUCH space. At least if John comes to visit there'll be more than enough room.
