God, what a crazy life.

So as you may or may not have heard, Alexis got hit by a car on Friday afternoon. Apparently he was riding his bike home from the library and was hit by a van at the intersection of High and Oak streets on campus. So far, that's all we know. We were all hanging out at his house when he decided to ride his bike up to the library to return a few library books, and after about an hour and several unanswered calls to his phone, some guy finally answered and told me that Alexis was in the emergency room and asked if I could come in. He suffered a concussion, seizure, badly bruised knee, and minor cuts on his lip and chin, but after a few surreal days in the hospital, we came home yesterday and he is doing fine. Too close, man. Too close.

Other than that crazy event, things are relatively normal--I got my grades back and things turned out better than I expected, which is nice. Christmas is just around the corner, even though it doesn't feel like it, and I have SO much shopping to do. Don't be surprised if you don't get your present until after the holidays, okay?

Grace is getting so big and so cute--she recently started doing this growl-y thing which is really entertaining, and she loves to chew on her toes.

I'm headed down to T-town tomorrow. Tight, tight.
