(no subject)
Wow, I can’t believe it’s been 17 weeks since I updated this damn thing. A lot has happened since November.
Towards the end of November I had an ear infection. The pain was so bad that I had to go to the emergency room for heavy pain killers. I went from one anti-biotic to another for about 3 weeks, nothing worked and finally the infection started attacking my ears and I lost about 60% of my hearing. On January 11th I had surgery to treat the ear problem. It took me 2 weeks to recover but now I can say I’m feeling and hearing like I did before this all happened.
My birthday was on January 19th so I am now 17, but unfortunately I was still recovering from my surgery on my birthday so I had to wait awhile before I got to celebrate.
My grandpa was in the hospital all week having surgery to replace his hip. He’s doing fine and went home yesterday.
I bought hot pink boots at the mall and have worn them everywhere lately.
Last weekend the Celebration Care Bears came into Carlton Cards so we are now the proud owners of even more care bears.
We have also gone Cabbage Patch Kid crazy lately. Our total is now up to 15 and 4 of them we got last week (all on different days though).
I quit my job yesterday. I do really love the kids there and I will miss them. I’m planning on volunteering at a woman’s shelter and teen hotlines and I’m planning on joining a theater group, if I can find one.
Candace, my therapist is moving to California and she’s leaving in May so I’m really upset since she was a really cool therapist.
I guess that’s it for now, oh and Tori Amos released a new cd and although it’s not my favorite of Tori cd I’m still happy.
