1. i am sort of miserable right now. i threw my back out and strained a muscle in my arm lifting some heavy crap at work yesterday. and i feel a cold coming on. so bed rest for me is in the forecast it seems.
2. the phillies are officially the 2008 world champions. i was sad that it ended on a hinske at bat with my rays boyfriend perez on base, but c'est la vie. my best friend maggie called me to celebrate and all i could hear in the background were fireworks and screams of joy, even out in suburban new jersey. any bets on how many arrests the philly p.d. will make tonight?
3. in sox news: vasquez in, valazquez opts for free agency.
4. i got an e-mail saying that my new digital camera shipped this morning. yay! expect an onslaught of aa eastern league photography action come april!
5. in other mail news, i got a postcard from the sea dogs today reminding me that single game ticket sales begins saturday morning. like i haven't been counting down the days since the long teary walk home from hadlock on september fifth.
