I got H.
Harry Potter (Harry Potter)--Harry's such a great backbone of the books that, for me, it's easy to think about how much I like other characters and kind of take Harry for granted. He's such a real character, someone I so enjoyed going on his adventures with. And I'm so happy he got his happily ever after.
Harvelle, Jo (Supernatural)--I liked Jo. I knew coming into SPN that her character was not well liked, but I thought she was fine. I liked her crush on Dean, it was cute. I thought she handled herself well in "No Exit." She was an amateur, she thought she was better than she was, but in the end, she was brave and she did the job.
Hadji (from Jonny Quest)--I've always liked Hadji. In the original series, he was smart and funny and mischievous, and not at all the goody-two-shoes that they made him in The Real Adventures. In TRA, he was a bit too much of a geek and I'd actually say he was a lot more "stereotypical Indian" in the modern series (and what does that say about society?). In CJQ, he did his "Sim sim salabim" magic tricks, yes, but those were (granted, unrealistic) tricks he learned on the street to stay alive, and he used them to help get them out of sticky situations, like Race using his spy skills. Hadji in TRA just spouted off wise Hadji-isms and was the wet blanket of the group. It made me sad.
Hiro Nakamura (Heroes)--I love Hiro. He's so geeky and sincere and just remembering first season Hiro makes me smile. He wanted to be a superhero so badly. That's all. I love his enthusiasm for everything. "Flying man!" "Waffles!" "I love New York!" His first instinct is to include his best friend in everything. Second season Hiro was little boring to me (I remember someone saying, "Oh, Ando does have a superpower. He makes Hiro fun to watch"), but I guess yay for character development? I'm not thrilled with him in season 3 yet, but it's still early.
Hayes, Ainsley (West Wing)--the blond Republican sex kitten lawyer. She was great. She was wacky and funny and smart and man, that first scene with her? Hysterical. "Textbooks are important, if for no other reason than they'd accurately place the town of Kirkwood in California and not in Oregon." (And Josh running to get Toby cracked me up, too.) And when she met Lionel Tribbey. And the President. She was fun.
