Maybe to toddler Sam- before he would remember- I could see that, but I agree as he got older, I have a feeling it wasn't said. Great piece.

I only knew him from the Neverending Story II, but I read an interview with him and he seemed so nice--he talked about how sometimes he got letters from fans with phone numbers and sometimes he'd call them. Aww!

I was trying to think of guys that preteen Jess could have fangirled...Jess and I would be only about a year apart, so I just cycled through my own middle school celebrity crushes. I agree that Jonathan Brandis was just dreamy. ;)
