Yes, I may not have expected it to be as gross-out as it was (I don't know why though) but I just squinted my eyes at those parts. I LOVE horror movies, but the type that makes you jump out of your seat or hide behind your hand (because you're scared of the "bad guy" or something) but I hate chop-up movies like "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" (which happened to be one of the previews). Even though this *did* have gross moments, I still didn't think they were that bad though.
The kids in peril part. I think it did bother me a bit (and I felt the same way about that little boy who was screaming in Pirates) but again, they weren't screaming or put in too bad a situation (except for the inappropriate innuendo scene. I don't think that was necessary. They could have done the same thing but with a passenger who was of age).
I did love the dialogue, especially the "like snakes on crack!" one! It's not the type of movie I would see twice either. I think you have to be a 17-year old boy to do that, for the most part. Had it been PG-13, I would have considered taking my 11 1/2 year old nephew but there were way too many inappropriate parts. That's what bothered me the most. The adults who WERE in the theater with very young kids! But I guess that's nothing new since I saw a maybe 9-year old and 13-year old at World Trade Center. Way to scare your kids with RL mom and dad (especially when it occurred only 25 miles from us).

I forgot about the innuendo part. That was cringe-worthy, too.
The gross out parts probably weren't too bad by most people's standards, but it's just not for me. ::shrugs::
There were no little kids in my showing, but that would have bugged me, too. It was NOT a kids' movie.
