The last few days have been much neato.
Saturday arvo I almost caught an 8ft shark of some description.
Was fishing about 5 minutes before sunset off the pier and it came up to snatch my bait. So fucking glad it didn't end up on the end of the line.
We also caught a Barra that arvo which we ate for dinner. Why people rave on about them I don't know, I've had nicer fish before.
Sunday Siv's boobs turned 1! We had cake and and everything hehe.
Also went down to the Patterson and fished for a while, didn't catch anything but I did see my first croc! He was lazing under a tree just in front of the car when we pulled up, but quickly snuck back in the water when he saw us.
Steve Starling was there too. He's that other dude from the Rex Hunt fishing show. Total Douche Bag!
Pretty much thinks he knows everything and last time he was up here Siv's dad almost threw him overboard aparently hahaha. Anyhoo.
Monday was just a laze day, no fishing coz the freight container was docked ALL day. Not too bothered though because it was 32c yesterday, inside had its ups.
This morning we got up nice and early coz the fish were biting again and hey whaddya know - Siv caught one in about 5 minutes, a 2kg spanish mackeral. Got some nice big fillets off it for dinner.
Watching Bob the dog devour the remaining mackeral carcass was slightly disturbing - think snake with a mouse style...

Anyhoo I'm gonna watch some Quads for a bit while it gets cooler then head out for another fish. Might be on the boats tomorrow, or if not thursday - can't wait!
