Update: The train is running again. The first one made it through Iowa yesterday - so my mother will be able to take the train locally.

Brothers, Alumni, or other Omaha residents,
Due to flooding in Iowa, the California Zephyr route has stopped running! My mother is heading to Salt Lake City on Monday via that train. If it is still not running, her best alternative is to drive to Omaha and catch a different train there. If it comes to that, she needs a safe place to park her car for about a week. We would pay to rent a parking spot from you, if you have space. PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP. She's been planning this trip for 3 years, and I hate to see my mother so stressed out.
