Drum Solo!
I have to write a drum solo for my final in one of my classes, and i'm kinda worried cause i'm not much of a "solo" kinda guy, but i also don't wanna write it cause its gonna be hard and its gonna take a long time.
Robert Sanchez is now living in L.A. and hes gonna start school in the fall. We've decided that we wanna start a musical project of our own, and i'm quite excited cause this will be a good chance for me to take my drumming in a different direction, maybe a more relaxed one. I really wanna play with as many people as possible, just so i can have more room for creativity and a chance to play with a different approach. I think i developed a certain style when i play with AlphabetteR and i like it, but i'm ready to play something else.
When i go back home i wanna start projects with the following people, if they are available and willing to participate.
1-AlphabetteR-rock/funk etc.
2-Ricky Pendell-some cool shit
3-Robert Sanchez-rock & roll
4-Jericho Cagle-jazz/blues/rock/fusion
5-Carlos Diaz-electronica/polka
...and many more
Ill be keeping pretty busy if all of these projects fall into place, and i will also be teaching and shit. This is gonna be fun! thats all for now.
