Test day booked.
Just went through and unlocked all my previous entries about my plans to join the police. I had planned on keeping them locked until I was accepted, but I've told heaps of people anyway, though I still haven't told my boss yet, so shh...
Booked my spot for the next round of testing on Thursday 9th December. There are still some more forms I have to fill out, and I have to have a pre-selection interview before then.
Fitness training is going well. Ran around Aotea Lagoon 3.5 times in about 12:30 today, which is fine as 3.5 times round the lagoon is actually almost 200m further than I need to go, though coincidentally the distance that the AOS have to run. The interval training is obviously working, though I've been slack and not run up any hills...
Got the second coat of paint on the hall ceiling today. I'll prep the walls over the next few days, but not paint them until Andrew has collected the last of his furniture on Sunday - don't want to damage the paintwork while trying to manhandle the sofa out the door. The lounge is going to be very spacious with just a beanbag & some cushions to sit on, though I do have that massive beanbag tucked away, I guess that'll take up some room.
