A nice easy resolution to keep, I hope - avoid getting as sunburned as much as I did the day before yesterday.
Was out weeding the vege patch, I guess I was actually out there a lot longer than I thought I was. My lovely radiation burn took about 48 hours to reach it full colours, no blistering that I'm aware of, but bloody hell it's painful, even

I agree to all of that except the police bit. It's a necessary job, but it chews up functional people, and spits out bitter and broken ones.

Do I really want to have to listen to a rant about how all the policemen you know are bitter & twisted?

I know an awful lot of policemen & women now, current & former, and for the most part, they are fine examples of well-adjusted human beings. I've met people in other jobs who are horrendously bitter & twisted too.
