First update for the year...
December 30 - went up to Shannon to check out Owlcatraz with Tam & co. Learned lots of nifty things about moreporks, and saw a whole lot of glow-worms.
New Year's Eve was good. Dithered a bit during the day then headed to Keane's place for cocktails and kareoke. We left there at about 3.15 am (Craig wasn't feeling too good), walked to the station (Craig managed to puke and walk at the same time without getting any on himself). Next train was at 4am, and the train station didn't have any bathrooms, just portaloos, as part of the revamp, so we walked back to the petrol station, bought water and a pie, then wandered back to the station to wait for the next train. Got home and fell into bed. I got up at 7.30am for the obligatory I've-been-drinking-spirits hurl, then went back to sleep until ooh, about 4.50pm, so that pretty well took care of New Year's Day too.
Back at work on the 3rd. Pretty cruisey really, though the cafeteria wasn't open so I couldn't play pool. Rinse and repeat for the rest of the week. Left work early on Friday for gaming.
Sat 6th - games at Robyn & Alistair's for Alistair's birthday. Cute teeeeny tiny kittens.
Sun 7th - games at Lance's for something to do.
Today - I seem to have eaten too much MSG lately, I have a bruise under my chin. Have to think of something for dinner tonight (yet more games) that isn't going to bring me out in itchy welts. All the yummy takeaway foods are loaded...
