Hello, everyone! I've been very busy / stressed lately, so I haven't had a chance to write in here. So, updating...
Murder Mystery was so, so awesome! I consider myself extremely luck to have had the chance to be in a show with all of you who were in it. You each used amazingly strong characters who were superlatively funny, and the audience ate it up! And for those of you who came, waited tables, teched, or in some other way made the show a success, thank you as well. Support your local techies! I only wish we could do something effective to help you guys...
AP tests... 3 down, one to go. The English was pretty easy, except the proctors jipped us 8 minutes (which is a lot, considering the mult. choice section is only one hour, even). So, they decided no one could have watches anymore. The official reason: you can send text messages on them. WTF? The real reason: if they screw up again, they don't want anyone to know / complain. Statisitcs was a cakewalk. That class really isn't AP. It's more a low level honors or something. Most of you guys could take it and do fine. History. Oh boy. Horrible questions. Lots of colonial, pre-colonial, and post-1970's. As Mr Thomas said, "I knew we were in trouble when I found out the head test writer was a woman." And chemistry is sure to be a bitch.
SAT II's today. Math IIC- hard. Chem- easy. History- weak! Then I came to CSz practice, but I missed JV cuz of SAT II's. I was going to watch varsity, but they weren't really doing much, so I left. When I got home, I found out that a family friend's granddaughter (about 4 years old) died of cystic fibrosis. I only saw Zoe once at my Bar Mitzvah, but I remember her as being an adorably cute baby. I'm slightly down because of it, but I have much to do, so I can't worry about it right now.
The Odd Couple!!!! LEARN YOUR LINES!!!! ESPECIALLY ZACH AND ME!!! But, we will, and the show is going to be hillariously funny, so make sure you all come May 18 and 20 for the male cast and May 19 and 21 for the female cast. The two versions are very different, but both are superbly funny, so make sure you see it!!! Buy your pre-sale tix sometime soon in the AAC!
