This must be the first time I read a new Harry Potter book before
book_fairy. I was sort of on a deadline, though, as the only reason she didn't start reading it the minute we picked it up at B&N was because she still wanted to re-read the sixth book, and it was made clear to me that I was to relinquish the seventh as soon as she was ready for it. So I raced through it, by my standards anyway - I don't read particularly quickly, nor usually in very long sessions. Finished it late Sunday night - and though Martina had finished book 6 earlier in the evening, she ended up taking pity on me and let me finish. In exchange for a doughnut.
It (the book) was quite good, and that's all I'll say for now.
