Seen at the Elgin Street Diner Early This Morning
Dear Toronto Maple Leafs fan at the ESD tonight,
I don't particularly care that you cheer for the Leafs. I don't care that you're wearing a Leafs jersey, or that you like to pick on Sens fans.
I do, however, care when you start harassing said fans so that we, in the back of the restaurant, can hear you, call any dude wearing a pink shirt 'homo', and I especially care when you pick up a coffee mug of hot content and fling it in our direction, almost beaning an innocent waitress in the act.
So many words that I want to say in frustration boil down to: Grow up, stop letting your temper get the best of you, and think before you act, dammit. If you'd hit someone with the mug, you'd likely have been charged with assault with a weapon, and there was no shortage of witnesses tonight.
