Yea, we're feeling really creative on titles tonight. ;D

Anyway, happy New Year, everybody! The ball dropping in Times Square over here was definitely a "meh", especially as they have so many damn emo kids on there now, along with EVERY STATION having some moron spokesperson from American Idol on. Caught one pretty good performance from Finger ( Read more... )

Yay for bleach! And I wondered if Blood+ ever ends - the numbers seem to go on and on. I think the last time I checke CN was right before I went home, and they hadn't updated anything yet. I'd about given up on them coming back up with a decent lineup, though I was happy they had InuYasha and FMA on saturday again rather than some of that other stuff. I do wish they' put Trinity Blood back in the lineup again, but I guess I'll have to pul out the DVDs.

And Witchblade is back? I loved that show when it was on and was really disappointed that it wasn't renewed. Then again, I'm thinking of the live-action one that was on TNT when they first started airing original programming.

Isn't some other network picking up Futurama with new episodes? I have to admit, I always enjoyed it - much more than the Simpsons or Family Guy (or whatever it is). I woudln't mind seeing new episodes of it.

I hope you had a good time last night, and have a great start to the new year.

I can't help but to admit that I really enjoy Bleach. IF they ever start releasing the sets for it, I'll buy them. Though at least right now I have most of them in my DVR - if not all.

I haven't really been able to get into Blood+ lately, either. I was watching it every week, but lost interest in the last few months.

TNT had a really well-done original series called Witchblade a number of years ago. I don't know if you can find the episodes online anywhere or not. It went for at least two seasons, but then ended. I really enjoyed it and was sad they didn't renew it. I wonder if the anime has the same principles, or just the same title. It'll be interesting to see.

Comedy Central really hasn't been my favorite channel. I'll flip it on when they're running a movie I like and I can't find anything else, so we'll see. I thought part of the problem with Futurama was they were running out of plots in addition to the cost of the episodes. I guess I'll have to check it out when they actually have new ones to see what they're doing.

Heh - it is kind of addictive, especially with all the fun characters. I'm hoping especially that we get more Uryu and Kon in the new ones ( ... )

The movie was the pilot episode, and then the episodes picked up the story. It really was good. If you can find it anywhere it's worth watching. It was one of the earliest original series that was shown in the off season (like Monk, Pschye, The Closer, etc. are now).

It'll be interesting to see the anime, since they won't have the constrictions of working with real people.
