I seriously want to flail but I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place for it!

I absolutely love it (and I'm actually typing this after reading the first section. This:

"I'm sorry I never told you things." She is already more than half asleep.

Maggie bites back a sob at the past tense. "It's who you've always been. Please don't apologize."

Please don't die.

Brought tears to my eyes.

"Dana, are you having some kind of relationship with your partner?"

That's the Bill she knows. "Some kind of relationship? That's a little vague, Bill. I suppose humans have 'some kind of relationship' with nearly everyone, haven't they?" She's not so far gone she can't needle him.

This made me laugh. And Mulder's thoughts in his apartment? Wow.

And this:

Mulder blinks a few times, having been lulled by her calming voice. "You've got me sold. A bridge of undying devotion across space and time is far less prosaic than billions of enormous nuclear reactors."In fact the entirety of the Mulder/Scully scene took my breath away. It's so them. And

Wow, thanks! I always appreciate when someone takes the time to let me know their favorite parts. It mean a lot.

I get frustrated with the Irrational Bill Hate for the same reason I get frustrated with the Irrational Diana Hate. Personally, I think Bill has every reason on Earth to hate Mulder.

You're more than welcome. And I could have posted a lot more bits than I did - I figured it'd get annoying after a while.

I do love to hate Bill on the show at times, but that's because I'm very much biased towards Mulder. I like to see him being portrayed as an actual person though (and yes, if I were Scully's big brother I think I'd be pretty pissed with Mulder today) - even if sometimes I want to go 'nooo, but he's Bill!!' ;)

*laugh* Yes, Mulder > Bill any day. But I think having him be hated just because he (rightfully) wants to punch Mulder in the face is as weak as shoving Whitney down an elevator shaft because she displays some interest in Mulder in IWTB. Apparently no one other than Scully is allowed to have any kind of emotional response to him.

Oh yeah, I know what you mean there. I think the thing that bugs me about Bill is that he's such a one dimensional character. At least with CSM or Krycek we can hate them for being such utter bastards. All Bill's got is not wanting Scully to get hurt, and after 9 seasons it becomes a bit wearing!
