today seventeen years ago...
Today was my birthday! Thank you so much to all you guys who made it wonderful. I can't begin to tell you how much i love you all.
Wow, how blessed am I? God is too good. I mean as I look around me, what can I do but praise Him? I see Him everywhere. In the intricate beauty of a rose given to me by L Dubs, in the love of a friendship captured in a picture, in the love and laughter shared while i talked with my aunt over the phone, in all the wonderful heartfelt cards and notes from so many awesome girls, in the closeness of a friendship grown for seven years now, in the joy in my parent's eyes as they woke me up at 12am to sing me happy birthday, in a message that made my morning, in the clouds and the rain, in the daffodils blooming in my front yard, in my favorite worship song coming on the radio at the moment i needed it most, in the inspiration a woman conveyed who had given her whole life to helping others, in so many happy memories, and in so many hopes of new memories.
I can't be thankful enough.
