First day of school
Well, today has definitely been a day of ups and downs. This morning I met up with Jay and went to breakfast with his parents. That was really nice.
It definitely was difficult to see him leave. I wish I could have gone to the airport to see him off, but unfortunately I had class. I am really hoping the next four months go by quickly, at least on my end.
My classes seem alright, so far. Granted it is only the first day, but the work seems like it should be fairly manageable. I have another class in about half an hour that doesn't get over until 9:05pm tonight - uggh!
On a more positive/light-hearted note - I am excited to say that my manager from Ecolab called me a little while ago to extend an offer for a full-time position with them once I graduate. For those of you who don't know, Ecolab is basically a soap manufacturing company for industries ranging from hotels and restaurants to hospitals. It is a fortune 500 company that no-one has really ever heard of; however, once you become familiar with their name they really are everywhere. The next time you are in a bathroom at a restaurant or in a hotel - check to see what cleaning products they use - there is a great chance that they are made by Ecolab. Oh, Ecolab is also the company I interned with this summer.
Anyways, I hope everyone's first day of classes went well and that everything goes/went smoothly flying.
