The subject line (with the exception of the maybe part) is from part of a song titled, "Kansas City" - clever, huh? haha
So I get teased quite a bit about the Royals, which I really do not mind. I will admit that I am more of a fair weather fan. However, last night showed that you can't laugh too much at how poorly the Royals do. Thanks to the Royals the Twins are now the Central Champions!
That's right, Detroit was beat by the Royals in Detroit, when the Tigers only needed to win one more game to win the title. The Tigers were swept by a team that was tied for last place, hahahaha! I think that is awesome.
OK, so I like baseball but in all honesty I really don't keep up with what is going on in sports. I like going to games, but I am really indifferent to watching them on TV and keeping track of the stats.
Actually, I am hoping that school and what-not will start to slow down, so that I finally feel as though I am caught up with everything and can actually go home in a few weeks. One of my best friends is getting married next July and I am one of her bridesmaids, so I need to see about dress fittings. Also, if I don't go home this semester I will not have been physically home since the first weekend in June and will not get the chance to go home again until probably Spring Break, if even then. It could easily be a year before I will have actually been back in KC. I guess I am kind-of missing it (just a little).
