Thank you so much for your lovely detailed comment! I am pleased that the contrast in Draco's personality came across - I think his public persona (and indeed what we get in canon) is almost certainly a mask to keep people at a distance and keep himself from getting hurt and being vulnerable, so it's nice to write a Draco who is secure and loved and feels able to be his true self (at least, most of the time!). I think after a few false starts Harry would understand that loving all of Draco means letting him put his mask back on when he needs it to feel more secure (and would learn how to reassure him!).

I also love Malfoy dos and don't... (I'm glad you do too!) and I think suburbia and Draco would not mix!

I love the way you depicted Harry and Draco in their lives. Draco's characterization is nicely done -- snarky when he's on the defense, as a way to cover up his insecurities and vulenerabilities. The way Harry can see through that and really get to Draco is so cute.

And also, do you have any idea how incredibly thrilled I was to find out you're an h/d shipper? Flack/Mess lover AND Harry/Draco?

This is lovely. I like Harry's contentment and Draco's manic househunting. I think you've shown the differences in their personalities perfectly in Draco automatically thinking "Why not, we can afford it," about a central London house, and Harry automatically thinking "that's a ridiculous sum of money".

I came here after seeing that you'd written Say Anything on the HD smoochfest- I really enjoyed that too!

Oh thank you! I am so pleased you think their actions reflect their contrasting personalities. I think that is one of the reasons they work so well together - and have such enormous great arguments!

I can't believe this is your first posted fic, not even three years ago. *hugs tight* I love how well Harry knows Draco in this story, capable of preventing any down-spiralling of their different approaches to moving in together. And yay, al-fresco sex in the middle of London. :)
