Movies!!!!!!
I gotta say that I love netflix. Thanks to that wonderful dvd rotating system Io and I have been able to have many a pleasant evenings cuddled on the couch watching whatever movie strikes our fancy. Last weekend was the original "Robin Hood" and the parody "Men in Tights" becomes even more clear. This Friday was "My Fair Lady" since it's one of the musicals I do not own yet. And soon should be arriving "Mirrormask" since Io has yet to see it and I know he (and anyone out there yet to enjoy its marvels) will find it fantastic. "It's the charm" "No it's a chicken" and "You'd make a lousy waiter".......Neil Gaiman rocks my socks. Been reading his short stories again lately. It's amazing how well he can weave the normal and ordinary into these weird worlds and the unnatural. And of course the wit and sensuality.
On the note of my fellow movie watcher, I can just say that I feel very lucky to know him. I had day after day of migraine and he came to my room and hugged me close, doing whatever silly thing popped in his head to make me laugh and smile. That's a caring person right there.
