(no subject)
I finished a new story the other night. I'm going to wait to get some feedback from my crit group before I kick it out of the nest. It's a little long, and that always worries me. I don't know that I could cut more than a few hundred words and still say everything that needs saying. We'll see.
Now to install Word on this machine (seriously, who doesn't have WORD? Gotta love tech geeks) so I can finish the other story I was working on before the move without losing all my footnotes.
And then I can get back to TIK. At last.
And in other news, is it just me, or are Cheez-its not the compulsively tangy/greasy numminess they used to be? I bought a box the other day for the first time in years. Upon opening the box I fully expected to lose all semblance of decorum, but the crackers inside were dry and uninspiring.
It's probably for the best. Brains are more savory anyway.
