Downhill

Downhill is the one thing I love more than Mary.  Hours of exhausting effort to make it up a hill, for a small few simple minutes of racing down a hill. Which you only know from the other direction. Brakes are essential, just not the front ones.  There is only 1 gear on downhill rides, your highest, make that bitch spin like no tomorrow.  It is a good idea to remember to bunny hop at times, and then to duck at others. Steer away from big rocks. Remember gravity is a bitch. What goes up must come down, as in, if you go up over your handle bars, your coming back down to the ground, and its going to hurt.  tucking and rolling is always important, you cant be stoned for this shit unless your amazing, when you fall you in the air have to realize how fast your falling, and what is going to hit the ground first and tuck that side in.  DO NOT try and catch yourself, just tuck and roll, you will break far less this way.  But this is all worth it, to see the trail whiz by, to clear obstacles with 10' of travel time in the air. To change your center of gravity every 30 seconds so you do not end up on your ass. It’s all worth adrenalin I feel from it.

This is how I feel about down hill.

How do you feel about your favorite activity?
