Maybe I'm crazy or maybe it's my journal style, or maybe they changed it all and back when I wasn't looking, but I'm hearing about all this drama, but not seeing any of it. Everything's still normal for me, and has been through it all.
BTW! I NEED YOUR HELP! Have you gotten my e-mail about Sunrise and about other stuff, and wanting to talk to you. Do you have time next week? Or possibly tomorrow night? Or Friday afternoon? Or I'm free Christmas Eve and Christmas and Monday and Wed and Thurs until airport time. I misses my Bekah.
If you're using an S2 style, you won't notice it so much, and IIRC, you do use your journal's customized comment pages, so you won't see much change ("yet"). Lots of people don't use the customized comment pages, especially people who use LJ for RPing and memes, since it makes the comments harder to read since the threads just get longer and thinner the more there are until finally each word is on a separate line.
Ah, yes, I got it! And I thought we already went over that story pretty well...was there something specific that you think needs work? And tomorrow (Thursday) could work okay for talkings depending on the time--I think I can do about 6ish?
HOLY SHIT ON A CRACKER! I just refreshed. Why did I refresh? WHAT IS THIS COMMENT FORM MONSTROSITY!!??!?!?!?!?!?!?
That aside, I thought so, too, but is it good enough for submitting to a lit mag for their thematic piece that the journal is centered on? Would you pick it for that? If not (and I don't know that I would), I need to know how to strengthen it, if it even can be.
I'm headed to Frankenmuth tomorrow, and I don't know when I'll be back, but let's aim for 6, and I'll text you if I can't make it back by then. Can you do later? I have doctor stuff to talk to you about, too. Not too scary, but semi-concerning that I thought you would like to know. Oh, and Amy Watkins says hi! We spent the day together today. OH!! And I went to a Celtic Thunder concert on Sunday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IDK why you refreshed...but I've been making this iconfais ALL DAY, or at least every time I thought about FaiL-Jay's asshattery. B(
...Well, what is...I mean, so, what, they choose a story and center their whole issue around it? I mean, that piece's theme is clearly "growing up" with a hint of "finding yourself" and a dash of dawning self-awareness, which would likely be a fairly good topic, depending on...what the journal is normally about. IDK, does that make sense?
I could maybe do 7ish, but I really have to be off by around 9, since I'm pretty sure we're doing some family stuffs. Hi back to Amy, and SQUEE, I KNOW I SAW YOUR EMAIL I AM SO EXCITED FOR YOU AND MUST HEAR ALL ABOUT IT FORTHWITH!
They have a theme, which is "A View from Here" this year, and then pick a story or selection of poetry based on an interpretation on that theme, and have that as the supporting piece for the rest of the mag. That way each year's mag is different. Does that fit? Because the piece is about seeing something from different angles, kinda.
I will try to be back for 6 (don't you love being on the same time zone!!??!), but since I'm not driving, it's not my call. WEMUSTNEEDSCHATTINZ!!
Yeah, that piece fits that theme pretty well, I'd say. I can't really think of anything else you've showed me that does, at least not off the top of my (very unfocused ATM) head.
