it's a bit late now...
...but someday somebody should write fic where the EU or the G8 or even the UN have a Secret Santa with lots of snark and resistance from non-Christian or non-observing nations and they all get each other ridiculous gifts but it ends with a heartwarming moral about how the holidays are a time for giving.
