10 mile bike ride, yay
The bad thing about California is that everywhere you bike is really hard on the way there and easy on the way back, or vice versa. Silly falling off the edge of the continent.
I cooked "meat" for the first time ever (not counting lunch meat or microwaved chicken breasts). It was exciting. I had to call my parents for tips. I asked my Dad, "So, about this meat stuff, what do I do with it?" Of course, he answered, "Apply heat to meat!" which I think I now need to print off and post in our kitchen. I used some Chinese orange sauce (as in, orange beef/chicken), and it was good. I <3 orange sauce.
