None of the above. You're mostly just normal. Everyone is 'normal' in a different way.
Think about it this way: Other people aren't hating you or ignoring you. Most are just busy working out their own lives much the same way you are. We've all got stuff to process.

I totally agree. When life hits, sadly.. internetz get last priority. :/

I know how it is when life hits. It's obviously hit me before to the point where I couldn't so much as find the time to reply to a single email or such. But I also know when people start avoiding me... (no one's done this lately, mind you)

I don't know. Like I said, it's just me being me... *shrugs* I need to knock it off. But it is hard to explain the situation with friends.... especially at 4:30 in the morning when I can barely get me eyes to stay open. :P

Maybe I'll be able to write down my thoughts while at work and post them later.. elaborate on what I mean...

I have to agree with Purr-- I don't really think there's anything wrong with you, eh. I know that I tend to be very bad about corresponding via e-mail or IM, despite the fact that someone as geeky as me ought to be online most of the time. Please don't read anything into that sort of behavior, eh!

As far as I know you are still one of my bestest friends and one of my better mates... I don't think you are a bad person and I never did .. we have gone through much of the same things so it's only natural that we understand eachoteher
However if I ever knew that you were online *glares* I would be able to talk more with you and not you just prodding me silly!

Elaboration... alorene May 17 2007, 05:20:05 UTC
To elaborate on this post a little more, for me it's not been uncommon for me to make a friend and lose them a week later. Sometimes, and I stress sometimes, it seems as though the longer I know someone, and the more they get to know me,the more distant they become. Once upon a time I could log into my IM client for 5 seconds to check my messages and I'd get pounced by ten or fufteen people. These days, I could log in and leave it sitting all day and not get a single hello. It's not like I ever used to be an artist, or some great author, getting swamped by fans or the like. These were just friends I had met over the course of my virtual travels. Now, I know that, over time, some have left the fandom, and some don't get online anymore, some can't get online. Screen names change, email addresses, and everything in between. But there are a surprising number that, and I'm saying this from personal knowledge (empathy and guesses and all that good stuff not used in this assesment. It is fact), either avoid me or turn against me ( ... )
