Doesn't ever get any easier. We get harder, but animals will always be a lot of peoples' soft spot, mine included.

Oh, I speak not for myself either. 'Tis but a generalization, one in which I believe to be true-- not for myself or for most of the people I surround myself with-- but for those other humans.

Yeah... don't you just love em? When I was 16, my dad remarried to a woman with four kids. Me, my brother, all of them, and they all had to get cats (I was the normal guy in a retard factory.) So the elderly couple across the street poison the cats. All of em drop dead. Not like you can't see trouble coming, that many of the critters, but for fuck's sake that was insane.
