Stupid work survey
Today, we had our quarterly "All hands Meeting", in which the VP of the Operations department goes over *usually* non-interesting statistics and facts.
Towards the end of this meeting, the (Boss's Boss's) Boss mentioned that our recent employee satisfaction survey had troubling results.
He made reference to a couple of the survey questions in particular that had very low responses. Questions like "In the past 7 days, someone has told me that I've done a good job", or "I feel that my opinion matters to the Department", and "The job that I do clearly affects the company"
While it sucks that most people "Strongly Disagreed" with those statements, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one with such low morale and satisfaction here at Earthlink.
Maybe they'll re-org us again :)
