Adam spent a day with Wes who was now in bed. He sat having a beer and lounged on the couch flipping through channels. He wasn't really tired it was a hard day. usually on Father's day Wes and Fiona would have planned something to surprise him so he was thinking of her.

Fiona wasn't sure how to handle the situation. She had thought it over the entire time leading up to this moment. She stood on their front porch wondering if she should knock or just use her key. Then she remembered her husband was a spy and might shoot any unexpected visitors. Chuckling she knocked lightly.

Adam got up with the remote in hand wondering who was at the door at this time. He tucked his gun behind him where he could easily grab it quick before opening the door. He stopped dead when he saw her.

"Hi." Fiona said, because what was she supposed to say. "I was going to let myself in but I didn't want to startle you."

"Of course come on in Fiona." He stepped aside letting her in.

She walked into the house, taking a deep breath. It had been some time since she had been there. "How's Wes?" she asked, hopeful.

"He's good. Sleeping now." She still looked as beautiful as he remembered. His hand gently grazed hers needing the reassurance he was awake and not dreaming this.

She took his hand in hers and pulled him into a hug. "I promise I'll explain everything," she said softly. "I missed you."

"You have no idea how much I've missed you." His arms wrap around her and he hugs her firmly.

"Probably about as much as I've missed you." She smiled and kissed him softly.

He stroked her cheek and returned the kiss leaning against her.

"Mm really you promise?" He smiled tenderly and rested his forehead against hers. His eyes were red and watering.

"If I have anything to say about it." She put a gentle hand on his shoulder. "Maybe we should sit down."
