1 WEEK LATER
One week left until I finish off my first semester here at NYU. What can I say? This has been an incredible experience: I've met independent filmmakers, composers, M. Night Shyamalan, Bryce Howard, got a free screening of The Village, saw Rodrigeuz's short film, and most of all - made 5 short films!!!!
I've had a crazy time up here at New York, unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to watch much films in theatres or go out and explore the rest of the city. But it's great because I have been eating, sleeping, breathing FILMMAKING. Just like Nick says, "livin the good life"...
I am currently in post-production for my last film, and I have no clue how I will function properly when I get back home - my body has been molded into writing scripts, shooting, directing, editing every week how will I sit at home and do nothing for 3 weeks!!!?!??
There was this internship offer for a Beastie Boys Music Video, should have stayed.
Well, I have to head back to edit my film. The real reason I posted a message is because I have a full-sized "The Village" poster that I recieved from meeting with shaymalan. I wasn't too happy with The Village, but I feel like I should see it again before commenting, besides I don't want to ruin it for all of you who haven't seen it. But I have this poster, and I don't know what to do with it. I know Nick and Ryan are huge Shyamalan fans so if you guys want the poster, let me know ASAP before I leave and I'll bring it down with me.
