(no subject)
yeah...so i was called into a meeting this afternoon with my principal and vice, and they informed me that they are going to suggest to the superintendent to not renew my contract for next year. so...i don't have a job or income lined up past august of this year. awesome. but! kate and nate (or at least nate, and i'm assuming kate) offered me their place if i need it.
at first i was disappointed because i've been fearing this all year, and it finally showed up. they essentially said i wasn't good enough at my job to continue working there. and then after i thought about it, i figured this was God's way of saying "hey! you really weren't supposed to be a teacher. jokes on you for going through 4 years of college and 3 years of teaching before i let you in on the secret." and i honestly don't know if i want to continue teaching.
the scary part about this, is that i don't have a clue what i want/need to do. i've wanted to teach since i was a junior in high school. i wonder if it's still my dream job. if it isn't, what is?
