This is an excerpt from a Skype chat I was having with my friend Nicole while we watched the election results on TV. We went back and forth on several political issues while watching the results come in, and maybe about twenty minutes ago they called the election early and declared Obama the winner.
After seeing the news, I made that remark, and then Nicole not so eloquently told me to fuck off, heh. Good thing we're good friends and say this sort of stuff to each other all the time.
Honestly? I am just so happy that this is over (and that Palin will go back to her igloo overlooking the outskirts of Russia, yesss! No more SNL skits).
...I'm not looking forward to my political theory class tomorrow, however. It'll be WWIII tomorrow.
And wtf at the loser hardcore conservatives who are supposedly diehard Americans who love this country more than their own lives who are now threatening to leave the country. So much for American pride, I guess. Pack your bags if that's what you want, but you'll find no sympathy here. You guys had your eight year run and fucked it up horribly. Deal with it.
ANYway. I'm sure you all will be delighted to hear that this will be my last political related post until the inauguration of President Obama :D
