Dearest Santa,
I'm pretty sure I know what you're bringing me, and thanks in advance, you rock. I just thought I'd write and see if its not to late to ask for some things for some other people, if you've got time. Just make sure you bring some awesome toys to that little boy who was with his family ringing the Salvation Army bell at the grocery store this morning - the one handing out candycanes to everyone that walked by, and smiling, and dancing in his little cowboy boots while his sister played carols on the violin. It took everything I had not to cry as I picked out my tomato and broccoli and ate my candycane which tasted like Christmas - I felt what I'm sure that boy hasn't forgotten yet - the magic of Christmas. Oh, and maybe tuck a pack of those fancy travel-size tissues in the stocking of the lady who sat next to me at church tonight. She was moved by the congregation singing Silent Night by candle light, and I think she was reminded for just a moment of the magic Christmas possesses too. And bring Meghan and her family lots of time to spend with Luke now that he's home from the war. I know the Myers family remembers how magic Christmas feels.
And if you could, and there's room in the sleigh, bring my Granny a kiss and a hug from me while she dreams tonight. If I can't be there when she's awake, I'd at least like to be there in her Christmas dreams.
Love always,
Lauren
