Life in the 90212.....
So lets recap:
Well some of you know graduation was last week AND we had sooooo much fun (plus the strokes, yellowcard and others from various groups entertained us) it was kroq weenie roast weekend so a lot of emo like bands were in town so getting some fun groups to play wasn't to hard AND well the twins also had 18th bday sooooooooooo
that helped.
and yes we did play lacrosse at 4am AND yes jake did break hanna's finger (such a BASTARD he is)
have decided on nyu film school after lots of thought as my parents have said everyone should live in nyc at some point AND ucla has being uber cool and let me defer for a year sooooooooo if i hate the new york cold i will have a place.
truth is i think i just want to be away from the 90212 and all the security that comes with that + because i bitch so much about how i hate to drive anywhere in this smog filled highway parking lot that is los angeles the subway will be fun and i'll get to audition for plays and be a real starving actor type.
now all this might change 6 months from now when its freezing cold and i miss wearing shorts and going surfing as the 3 things i will really miss are the ocean, surfing, AND house of pies!
in other news was with lily and skylar monday night when we got into a little car crash (lily just got a new element suv) soooooooooo 3 day old car and while were at stop light car hits us from behind (not a big deal but i say crash just for dramatic reasons) anywhooo being its bev hills u never know who might be in the car that smacked into you and to my surprise it was drew barrymore....
she is shorter then i expected -- BUT -- such a coolio as she felt awful about lilys car and was just all la la la la la making sure we were all right and everything (we were fine) anyway because anyone who knows me knows i am a real smartass -- when drew asked if we needed anything (like her insurance info etc..) i pipe up and go WELLLLL i need a summer job...
not giving it much thought as i said i was just being a dork my dad wakes me up this morning at like 8am saying someone is calling for me on his line (odd i think and go it's to early tell them i'm sleeping and to just call my phone after 11)
soooooooooooooo yes you can prob guess i have a GREAT summer internship BUT not with drew but with that 70's show (don't know what she said or who she called) just they called to tell me how they had heard i was looking for a summer intership and wondered if i might like to be the writers "dude get us coffee guy"
so weird how things work out BUT skylar is happy as she gets the job (which does pay) that i was going to do working for quicksilver AND lily well she gets to spend a day at drews beach house + a new bumper.
yepp life is good
NOW if only nyc had house of pies.... anyWayyy will be fun driving cross country in sept with shep, lily,
brit, and maddie seeing the sites doing our own road rules like simple life.
ok off to do the happy dance and get myself some DUDE get us lunch type clothes (whatever those are)
