"She takes care of herself..."

Yet another update!

Life is a little less busy, so yay. It also accounts for the updates. :] I need to make up for not updating at all in October anyways.

I got a 90 on my Hamlet essay test. I got full points on three of the essays. The only essay I got points off on was the graveyard scene one, and that's because the bell rang and I hadn't even started it yet, so I wrote it in two minutes. I knew there was more I could have said, but the lack of time stopped me from doing so. That's okay, though. I only got ten points off out of a possible twenty five, and I got full points on every single other essay. I'd say that's something to be proud of, especially since I was absolutely positive I had failed the test. In other English news, we did excellent on our research project. :] We got a 100 on presentation - Mrs. Jay loved our homemade paper. Yay us! Also, The Kite Runner is actually a pretty interesting book. It's rather sad, but once I start reading I just can't put it down. It really is that good. I started it yesterday and read to page 140 something. I plan on reading more today. I want to find out what happens.

In not so good news, I bombed that calculus quiz today. I totally blanked out and screwed up the first two, but hopefully I got the rest right. Hopefully. And we get +5 on the quiz because we all had our books. Maybe I can pass after all. If not, it'll just be my drop grade. :]

Speaking of books, the school claims I still have a purple literature book. Uh, don't think so. I'm pretty sure I turned that back in. Stupid Elkins.

I wonder when I get paid. Maybe I should ask, but I figure when it's time to get paid they'll tell me. :]

Con Law competition is soon. Ellington is stressed, and I'm beginning to notice some people are stressed as well. I'm not - we'll pull through. We improve every day and we learn more every day. I know we can do this. I'm not worried at all. Which reminds me, I need to get shirt money and the permission forms signed.

Mr. Estes ordered my reed! Hopefully it comes in soon. I've probably missed a lot in band.

College applications almost completed. Just some essays to do and then I'm done! After that, I will be searching for scholarships. I need all the money I can get!
