Instead of work on my Hamlet essay, I think I'll type up a much needed entry. Besides, I was convinced the essay was over the play within a play concept, but it's over the soliloquies. Yeah, don't know much about those/don't care, so I'll write it later. Or maybe I could try to start after I finish writing this..
School takes up all of my time. But, Mrs. Jay liked our research project. :] I hope we get a good grade on it! It only took FOREVER to do. Also, I hope the possible good grades I get from the research project balance out the possible failing grade I got on that Hamlet essay test. I am maintaining my A in Calculus. Who's proving they're good at math day after day - test after test? ME. And I'm proud. :D And I have a million AP problems to do for Physics. Oh well. And papers I need to get at some point in time and then memorize for Con Law. I'm too busy.
I still don't have a reed for band. Stupid repair guy. Maybe I'll get it today? Maybe? Probably not, but one can hope. If I don't, I get to look forward to telling Estes I still don't have it. It needs to come in NOW!
I now have a job! I work at Lone Star Pet Lodges. It's pretty fun - all I do is take care of and clean up after cats and dogs. Mainly dogs though. A dog peed on me yesterday and I wasn't very happy. Other dogs do everything in their power to keep me from leaving their kennel because they want attention or they don't want to be there. The depressed dogs I make sure to pet a lot because I feel bad for them and I figure they need some cheering up. I also have my own favourites and I give them extra attention when I have time. :] And there are some adorable puppies! I love when I have to take them out because they're so cute and I love petting them. But, along with all the nice, friendly dogs, there are a few mean ones. I avoid those dogs because I don't want to get bitten. Then, there are three pit bulls that everyone is afraid of, except me, so I'm the only one who handles them. They're so friendly! I don't know why everyone is afraid - they wouldn't harm anyone. And what these dogs are fed is CRAZY. I've seen dogs that get shredded chicken every night, tomatoes, cheese, yogurt, and who knows what will be next! I spend more time preparing some of the dog's food than I would spend making my own food. On another note, the people I work with are pretty friendly. I like them, and all we do is joke around. It's a nice environment to work in, and it helps take my mind off of how tired I am. Also, the fact that so many dogs are going home now makes things a lot easier as well. Less dogs to take care of means I can be less tired. :]
This break has been wonderful. I've gotten lots of sleep, relaxed, and eaten tons of good food. I'm sad to see it end. I don't really want to go back to school. On a happier note, I got some funny Christmas cards, a new purse (!), and Bryan's Christmas present on Black Friday. I know he'll love it. :] I also got some more ideas for Jared's birthday present. (Jared, you need to help me! I don't know what to get you!!) My mom also got all my cousins Christmas gifts and even some gifts for my aunts and uncles and grandparents. Christmas shopping for our family is pretty much done.
I suppose that's really all that's been going on. I'm still extremely busy, life still sucks at times, and this year I'm finding out who will and who won't stab me in the back. I still need to do college applications, which I'm not really looking forward to, and find scholarships to apply for. I wish I could have a day where I had NOTHING I needed to do. That'd be pretty nice.
