Chicago & Summer Randoms

Well, this is a much needed entry.
Wellllll, an almost much needed entry. ;]

Anyways, my summer has been pretty boring. I've just done a lot of reading, playing on the computer, and movie watching. Oh, and hanging out with Bryan. I also spent the night at Jessica's with Alexa where we played tons of games, ate s'mores, and went to BJ's. Lots of fun. :]

Then, I got back from Chicago yesterday. I got to drive for an hour and a half on the way up there, and nothing really eventful happened except for two people cutting me off. I also saw tons of deer and even a really cute little armadillo! Either way, yay for me being a good driver! Anyways, when we arrived, we went to Six Flags Great America. It was okay. The best ride there was the Superman, where you literally faced the ground, just like you were flying like Superman. It was way awesome. The Vertical Velocity, Batman, and Deja Vu were also really good rides. (I rode every ride there.) On Friday we went to Matt's surprise party. He pretty much suspected something was up, but that's okay. I basically sat there and didn't talk to anyone because I didn't really know anyone. Then, Bethany and I went to the park where a mentally retarded boy kept hugging me and calling me his sister. He seemed really sweet though. :] Then Bethany and I got tired and went back to the party where everyone kept drinking and Matt puked three or four times, including once in the hallway where I totally got to see it. Yuck. My idiot brother even somehow got a jello shot and showed it off to my mom that he had one and got in trouble. (First of all, if you really want the shot, you shouldn't show it off to your parents where you know you'll get in trouble. What a dumbass.) Also, a 14 year old girl had 15 shots. Her mom was rather proud of that. Talk about a screwed up family. Saturday my family went swimming and we hung out around Amy and Matt's house until it was time for us to leave. I played a lot of darts and I daresay I'm getting pretty good at that game. And that was my very condensed trip to Chicago.

Yesterday I hung out with Bryan, went to the Cheesecake Factory with his mom and sister where I had Shrimp Scampi (which was not as good as Red Lobster's or Bubba Gumps!), then we went to Jared's house and played Guitar Hero, DDR, and Wii Sports. (In which I OWNED at bowling.) Also, "how is your domestic partnership working for you?"

I got my AP scores. Let me just say, I BEAT JARED SHERBEL ON ONE OF THEM. FINALLY, I WIN! Okay, bragging is over now. I got a four on both the US History and English exams. I was.. rather disappointed. I wanted a five on at least one of them... but oh well. I'll get a five next year!

Senior picture proofs came in. They look AMAZING. I can't wait until we actually buy some.

Speaking of buying things, my grandmother bought me a Coach purse as a senior gift. I HATE Coach and all those other designer purse companies because for the price of ONE purse, you could feed a third world country! My grandma knows I hate Coach.. but my great aunt Linda talked her into buying it. I'll probably end up using it a couple of times just because it was given to me as a gift, but, knowing me, after that I'll probably end up selling it on eBay and donating the money to the One organization or the Save Darfur fund.

In any event, HARRY POTTER. I can't wait to see the movie (it better be good!) and I am so excited for the release of Deathly Hallows! Midnight release party? I am SO there! I am going to stay up ALL night reading that book. Exciting !!

As for college stuff, I'm applying to Southwestern, UT, and Rice. I figure I've got to get into at least one of those. XD

Today is mine and Bryan's 10 month anniversary. Yay! Right now we're going to eat some Ramen and watch a movie, and tomorrow we might go to the beach. :]

I hope I didn't forget anything!
