like pets
children are like puppies. sometimes cute and cuddly, always demanding to play, lots to clean up after, and frequently a nuisance. usually they are easily intimidated or bribed into obedience. then there are those days when you come home and they've chewed up your favorite hat and strewn the contents of the garbage can all over the house, when they peed on the new couch, on your bed, on the clean laundry and you just want to scream. when there is nothing you can do because it's just acting like a puppy and it's really not it's fault but goddammit, it's fucking frustrating.
